Optimi Health announced as first member of Sport Tech Hub 2021

We’re delighted to announce we have been selected to join London Sport’s Sport Tech Innovation Programme

Backed by London Sport, Sport Tech Hub’s tailored incubator programme supports innovation in physical and mental wellbeing through technology focused on physical activity and sport. Sport Tech Hub has helped to launch top brands like Gympass and is playing a key role in ensuring London is the capital of global SportTech innovation.

Aiming to supercharge developments in technology for physical activity and sport, Sport Tech Hub’s 12-week incubation programme supports the most innovative SportTech start-ups by providing access to mentoring and guidance from expert partners including FieldFisher, and Loughborough University.

Alex Zurita, Head of Sport Tech Hub said “Optimi is a great addition to the Sport Tech Hub program. We’re always looking for fantastic products and teams who we believe can lead the way in supporting people to live more active lives. Optimi Health fits this bill perfectly. In the coming months, we cannot wait to support them and open doors to potential customers to test and pilot their product.”

Piers Shotter, Founder and CEO of Optimi said “We’re delighted to join Sport Tech Hub’s Innovation programme and really looking forward to contributing to the community. We feel our visions are very much aligned and believe that like minded partnerships are essential to improving health at a population level.”

We are currently looking to test an early version of our digital self management plan for knee pain designed by the former Head Physio of the Australian U20 Rugby Team and the Head of Medical Performance at the NSW Waratahs Super 15 Rugby Club.
